Day two of Daisy's adventure road trip of Devon. Today (Jan 2nd) Daisy is off to catch a bit of Theatre and try out her acting skills with well-known actor Todd Carty (The Bill, Grange Hill, Eastenders). Daisy chats with Todd and other cast members of the Christmas panto 'Jack and the Beanstalk' at the Queen's Theatre in Barnstaple to find out why they love Devon.

I made friends with the lovely people who were in the panto including the Richard Alan who plays Dame Dorothy Trot, Jamie Anderson and Todd Carty who plays Ferdinand Fleshcreep. Todd is a well-known actor from T.V. programs like EastEnders, The Bill, and Grange Hill, he has really got involved with our community, from turning on the Christmas lights in Ilfracombe to taking his character out onto the streets in Barnstaple to entertain the crowds. They were all lovely people who shared my love for Devon! I asked them each what they love about Devon and what their favourite things are from the county, they specifically liked the beaches, the cream teas and the friendly people! Watch this space for the video clip of us having a chat.

Happy Mooo Year!!

Hi all, Daisy the cow here. I got bored on the farm and wanted to have an adventure, so i escaped and went for a walk in the glorious Devonshire country-side. I came across a girl named Helen who was walking her dog, she invited me to her New Years Eve party just outside Barnstaple, so i went and had a boogy late into the night! I love my new found freedom and i love what i've seen of Devon so far, i can't wait for what tomorrow brings. You can keep up with my exciting journey by checking this blogspot each day, plus my new friend Helen and her husband Joel will be joining me to video blog each part of the trip, so watch this space, I am going to show everyone why Devon is THE place to be. www.lovemydevon.co.uk
